Lovely almost surreal image. This is a very beautiful scene, with the Renoir catching the eye of the viewer. It tells a story. Nicely done!

what a great piece " a la Karin " .
I like the slight contrast between the stronger detail of the woman walking and the fuzziness of the painting it work so well with the quick look one gives to a passing item and the stronger reality of the viewer walking. Perfect story of brain ( the story ) & eye ( the look and feel of the work) connection. Bien fais ! (well done)

Edward! This is fantastic! I love the way you caught the woman in action. Do I see a new style at work here as well? Really wonderful!

Edward, This piece is absolutely flawless in its execution. The composition is so well crafted that you've managed to achieve movement in a painting that is otherwise still and placid. In terms of technique, I would have to say that "A Passing Glance" surpasses your previous beauty, "The Art Lover." I hope you intend to submit this one for a competition. It is certainly worthy. One can only wonder you'll surprise us with next. Bravo! Your new fan, Diane
