I like the way you cropped it.
I am crazy about the American flag. A great add on.

Excellent work, Edward, I love the glowing yellow colors. Howard Pee Pugpants has offered to come to your house and provide any dogtraining needed. I would recommend you not take his offer. ; )

I like that you included just one taxi and the colour of the taxi is perfect. Also the iconic bits are painted just enough to be interesting and not enough to be finicky. Very clean and warm, love it!

Ed I like the equal looseness throughout here, something I find hard to achieve in a cityscape. As others have said, nice crop.

I love this painting. Your work has such kindness even in this busy NYC street. It shows your personality. Great work!

Fantastic composition in this Edward! I like that you focused in on the taxi and added strong colors to the flags in the background, they draw my eye into the painting. Beautiful!

Really nice painting, Edward...love the composition.

And congrats about Beau...what a sweetie pie and how exciting to have a new family member and brother for Sophie. We're thinking of the same thing...but my sassy Maisie herself is a handful. I don't think I could handle another dog just yet!

Hello Edward
This is a fine painting. I have not seen the refernce photo from Different Strokes, but this is a clever composition. You have captured much movement in the scene. I can here the noises of the busy city too.
Best Regards

This is so cool and really makes a statement. I like the composition. The traffic lights keep my eye in the painting and the taxi is a nice solid anchor. Great job Edward!
