I though I saw a comment that you were going to pass on this challenge so I was surprised to see your painting. I'm soooo glad you joined in! Love the color choices. (Yum…I just had veggie sushi for lunch!)

Very nice, Ed. This is the kind of sushi I like...and so do the fish.

Great composition, super color, & killer avocado!!! I know this is sushi, but maybe I'm crazy, am I the only one that sees pool cues and billiard balls?

Yummy! I really like the composition and color. Plus, your rice looks much more appetizing than the original. The avocado looks creamy and real. Nice job!

Wanted to add, thank you for adding my link, Edward. Your blog has been on my Mac's menu bar next to Karen Jurick's for a long time. I'd check in daily via the long route. It's taken me a while to catch up with the gang on blogger. : )

Edward, receiving a compliment from you means so much. I ate a California roll today for lunch and no matter what everything makes me think about painting. Love the DSFDF challenge. Stay in touch. Love what you do!

Edward, I LOVE that you added the chopsticks to this painting! When I first saw it I said, "Now why didn't I think of that." They lead me right over to your colorful sushi. Very smart, you've created a stronger painting than what was in the photo reference. Well done!

Well done Edward i wondered if youd have it done in time! I wish i could use chopsticks, I have to break them in half like my brushes:o)

Edward, since I just ate a California roll, I can saw with some direct experience, EXCELLENT WORK! ; )

Nice job on the sushi. I love the orange and turquoise. Gives it sort of a 60's feel....but you're way to young for that!

Your chopsticks draw me right in! I love the composition. I see you comments posted everywhere - you are a wonderful supporter and from someone new to this I can tell you it helps tremendously.
