Karin Jurick's Portrait of Edward Burton

For the last assignment of the year on Karin Jurick's blog Different Strokes From Different Folks , Karin asked artists to send in photos of themselves which she then assigned to other participants. When I took a look at her blog last night I was blown away to find that it was Karin who painted my portrait! I am extremely delighted with the portrait and I am VERY honored that she did my portrait. Thank you, Karin, beautiful job!
The outfit that I'm wearing is a souvenir I got when my wife and I were in Tunis, Tunisia a few weeks ago.

OMG!!
Did you ever get lucky!! When I saw her blog earlier, I of course didn't know you or your blog, but was so REALLY IMPRESSED by the painting. She is an amazing artist! I imagine you saw the articles about her work and blogs in American Artist and Southwest Art...
WOW!!!
Just had to comment before I browsed through your other posts.

Happy Holidays to you!

Hi Ed! Thanks for the warm welcome from a fellow East Bayer (San Ramon here). I am so envious that Karin did your portrait but I can see why she would want to. It looks great. I hope this is the start to a long friendship. hugs...
